Dear Baby Princesses,
This is going to be one of those rare notes that is essentially just for BP2.
As always, I'm long overdue for posting. But this is just a quick one . . . one of those I-have-to-write-this-down-before-I-forget-it moments. The other day, BP2, you were sitting in my lap in the kitchen. I was trying to show BP1, who was standing next to us, how to tell time on her watch. "Where's the little hand?" I asked her. "Right here!" you chirped, flipping your tiny palm over your shoulder. I couldn't stop hugging you.
Speaking of hugging, I love how these days you refer to our hugs as "snugglebug." As in "Mommy, I want snugglebug." And I also love that you have a new catch phrase: "We're he-re!" in a bright, sing-songy voice whenever we arrive at a destination. I know these things won't seem that special to anyone else, but they are the little moments that are unique to our family, and the memories that will make Daddy and I smile years from now.
I really can't believe that you'll be 3 in less than 2 weeks. You are already sassy and outspoken, and you won't let anyone change your mind once you've settled on something. While this can be a source of frustration to your parents currently, I imagine your convictions will serve you well down the line.
More to come soon, Baby Princesses. It's been an exciting spring and I've got lots to catch you up on. For now, thanks for making Daddy's Father's Day so special. He loves you more than you can possibly imagine.
