I need major help here, I almost feel like there could be something going on with my little man. He's 3m1w old and still can't hold his head up on his own... he absolutely refuses to do tummy time, I even let him lay there and cry but he doesn't even attempt to lift his head... I need some suggestions!

Whoohoo!  So glad that he is all right and started rolling over and holding his head up.  :)

Well, as scared as I was that there was something wrong with him, he started rolling over two days ago! Andddd I set him on his boppy yesterday and he actually held his head up for four minutes straight with not one fuss!! I was so proud! Turns out I just have a lazy stubborn baby (:

You are welcome!  Oh and you don't need to go to a chiropractor- most doctors will refer you to a physical therapist- either way, hope this helps and let me know how things turn out!

It could be a condition called torticollis- it's nothing serious at all, just needs some work to get things adjusted right.  We went to a chiropractor for my youngest for treatment- she turns a year old today and is perfectly fine now!  Here's a link with a little more information- I'd bring it to your doctor and ask!  http://kidshealth.org/parent/medical/bones/torticollis.html

So sorry that tummy time is rough!  How does he do if you lay on the floor on your back and put him on your tummy?  Will he lift his head at all then?  I know some people have had some success with the boppy pillow too.  My youngest had some muscle issues and we had to work with her with tummy time alot to help it- she hated it, but we would put her down on her tummy until she started to fuss- let her go like 30 more seconds and then pick her up.  It helped a bit when we were down on the floor with her too.  Has your doctor mentioned anything?  Does he seem to tilt his head to only one side and not the other at all?
