once upon a time i itended to keep track of all the stuff tommy does through this blog so that i can look back on it when i completely forget about all of it.
epic fail.
but a lot of crap is going on and i'm pushing myself way past my limits. excuses, excuses lol.
as of this month, tommy can name most animals and which sounds they make. he has stopped saying 'nyow' for cat and says meow, which kinda makes me sad. not sure why, but he seems to think horses say 'haha' and…

it boggles my brain.
i spent a good amount of time worrying about that. way more than i should have. i tried so hard to not baby-wear, not co-sleep and not constantly keep the baby occupied. no matter what i did i got accused of spoiling tommy. and i stressed about it. i read somewhere that it's baloney to say that and that it's impossible to spoil an infant. it was so logical that i immediately stopped trying so hard to avoid spoiling him. which led me to realize that once again, it…

while i was at my dad's picking up tommy, my dad turned on law and order. it was an episode where a mom and dad were being charged with murder (i think, it's hard to concentrate with a wound-up tommy running around) of their 6 week old infant. i didn't get to see the entire episode, only to the part where the mother was frustrated by the breastfeeding process and let her baby starve to death. i don't want to know how it ends. it hits home really really hard.
when i brought tommy home…

tommy went to his first dental visit- finally. i have been hearing so much about his teeth rotting because i still nurse him at night (i brush his teeth before bed- there's no way i'm going to risk waking him up when i need to be at work at 7). the dentist assured me his teeth are a-ok. she sees no signs of decay AT ALL. yayyyyyyy! tommy was even good (gasp) during the appointment. he didn't kick, scream, squirm or refuse to open his mouth. which, of course, i assured them he…

Its not that bad to be honest. I mean of coarse there are challenges but all worth it. I really have to start recording my baby girl more. I tend to use my phone to record her since its always next to me but I really have to start recording with my video camera.
That is so cute...are you recording everything? A couple months ago I sat and watched some of my sons videos from when he was around 2 and its amazing how much you forget.
I actuallly took some time off of school. With 2 older children in school, and having to help them with homework everyday, it got a little difficult to keep up with my own school work. Especially with a baby demanding my attention.
Hi, sorry i just saw this. mine is 4 months, she's growing so fast. I can imagine..at 14 months they are getting into everything..exploring and just having fun
Thank you!!
