Diaries of a Mommy

Preston is getting so big!  He is 10 months old and has four teeth on the top and two on the bottom (with two trying to cut through right now).  His sleeping habits, KNOCK ON WOOD, have been outstanding.  A week of full night sleep starting at 7:30 PM until usually 7:00 AM.  Amazing, thank you, son!  He has been trying to walk by himself, without assistance, for some time now but still does not have it quite mastered.  He's got the push cart mastered and gets the biggest smile on his face…See More

I have been thinking a lot lately about certain characteristics that make up the average, every day, mom.  I would like to dedicate this post to my current curricular content.  We're not talking math, science, language arts or anything in that realm....we're talking Mommy 101, friends!  There are plenty of benchmarks and standards that must be met in a day when you're a full time mommy.  Some days can be longer than others, but the rewards are so great that it makes even the longest of days…See More

Potty Training HELP!!!

My daughter was born on September 29th, 2009 and is almost 2 1/2.  She show absolutely no signs of wanting to go potty on the toilet.  I was told by all of my friends who have girls that they are so much easier to train.  Not the case at our house!  HELP.  What have you done that has worked for you?  Any suggestions would be great!  Thanks!See More
