Hi! Just read your post about Bell's Palsy. My daughter developed this when she was 7 months old, one day after a big round of vaccines. I took her to two neurologists who said it may have been due to a component in her vaccine (they did not agree on which, and neither had seen this before) and recommended an MRI which I never did because by the time of both appointments it had (mostly)resolved and the MRI would have required general anesthesia and intubation. One neuro said to hold off on certain vaccines till she was a bit older and had a more mature neuro system, but then kind of changed his mind. The other neuro consulted with infectious disease who said get the vaccines they didn't believe the problem was related. Both also considered checking for Lyme. So..basically nobody knew anything! She is three now and I still see the tiniest of tiny bit of weakness on one side once in a while. A few times when she has had a cold/virus it has become more pronounced. So maybe inflammation affects the nerve, which could possibly have been the case after the vax. So that's our story! Hope yours resolves!
