Gearing up for those Terrible 2s!!!

So I have a 15m old baby girl and her personality and attitude are really starting to come out! She is really starting to show her independence like by telling me "no" everytime I need to do something, like bath her, feed her, or change her diaper! She is also very affectionate and gives kisses and hugs to every child her size that she sees or any kid for that matter... makes it kind of hard at the store or doctors office, I really have to watch her! She has begun to hide things from me and the… Continue

I get to stay at home with her right now due to surgeries I am healing from. She's not in daycare. A daycare wouldn't have the time in a infant room. It's just seems easier for her to have a BM since she was born she always had a hard time. So, I thought I would try. My mom had 8 kids and we were all potty trained by age 1. I couldn't imagine doing this 8 times. So it is very possible.

Julie, I recieved your comment about my blog of my six month old using the potty. For one, she's still using the potty. It's just easier to poop that way. Every mom chooses differently on how to raise their children. I just don't want mine to be 3 and not using the bathroom. She's not potty trained but she enjoys using the potty. I've only changed 3 dirty diapers in 2 months. How many people can say that? I want my child to experience every thing she can. I don't believe I am rushing her in any way. I've worked in daycare believe me I wish parents were as dedicated as I was potty training their children. We don't sit on the potty all day just about 5 to 10 minutes and she usually goes and we are done.
