My daughter is almost 4 months old...over the past month or so I have begun shedding like a dog! It's terrible! I've always lost hair while in the shower, since my hair is really thick...but this is…Continue
I'm not sure why this fact is important, but the media felt we needed to know."Asperger syndrome (AS), also known as Asperger's syndrome or Asperger disorder, is an…Continue
I need to get more creative with disciplining my 4 year old. The corner just does not cut it anymore, even if I make him stand there 20 minutes (The rule is that if he tries to come out of the…Continue
I have a 4 day old, and am nursing. Every time I nurse (and the occasional pump to relieve the fullness) I feel this release of hormones that comes out as pure sadness. Like a heartache almost.…Continue
Bethany Ann, Star Mom has not received any gifts yet
I hate that, at the moment, I am more compelled to write this blog than the birth story blog for my daughter. But I feel like it is important to write, not only as a self-therapy, but as a message to other mothers who may experience what I am going through now, and also to my daughters. My two sweet daughters who will one day have their own babies (God willing) and may have the same feelings I am. Potty training. Where do I begin....I suppose Day 1 is a good start. We dove head on into this adventure 3 days ago, though I introduced you the potty several months ago. I think I've hit a snag in my so far perfect pregnancy. Pretty sure I have the blues...and to be honest, I'd trade it for morning sickness!
My poor husband has suffered the most, because he's the only one I have (in this zip code) to talk to. My family is busy, and lately it's been so hard getting ahold of them that I feel like something is wrong. The same with everyone else too. I feel like a bother, even though I don't nag or complain to anyone, and nothing has happened…Continue
Wednesday Chris, Nevaeh and I anxiously drove to my Doctor's appointment. The only appointment I required Chris to go to (Not that he objected). The Gender Appointment. The nurse weighed me, and I had finally gained a pound (Dr. Davy did say I should try to increase my calories a little, to make sure I don't lose anymore....as I had lost 7 pounds prior to gaining that 1. Not sure how I lost, since I had absolutely no sickness).
Ultrasound Tech Guy walks in, squirts the gel on my belly.…
