"I'm not sure what the norm is but my son Noel who will be the 24th also has been taking longer naps. I almost always assume a change in sleep pattern is indicative of a growth spurt or other milestone like teething."

Sleeping Habits
Hey Everyone! So my son will be hitting his 6 month mark on the 18 and I've noticed his sleeping habits have changed. He is sleeping less throughout the night and also napping less often but for longer periods throughout the day. Anyone know what the average schedule for this age group should? And any advice on how to get my son on it? I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank YouSee More

"Oh and instead of placing her on her belly or on her back try placing her on her side. Place one rolled up blanket on each side so she doesn't move forward or backwards. Maybe her side will be much more comfortable for her than her back?"

So far DS is rolling over both directions, grabbing for absolutely everything (even stuff he shouldn't!), babbling, and trying like crazy to sit up on his own for longer than 5 seconds. I feel like every day brings something new and exciting. We also started feeding solids about a week before his 6 month birthday. He has taken to them very well, eating two meals a day. He loves butternut squash...he really is mine!! He looks like a mini version of DH but has my taste buds.
