I know this is kind of ironic but Livingsocial has  Washington , Montgomery Co  and Baltimore families now. It used to just be Washington and Baltimore but they now added Montgomery county. They have awesome deals for families such a deals to stores and outings. I signed up for a Mommy stroller bootcamp. :) There are also photography packages.

Hey Great Moms and Dads a local tip is to make the most of a day out with the kids by indulging in their "newest" facinations. For example my 2y/o is really into planes right now so we have made it a point to take him to the Air&Space museum in DC, also to the park at Reagan National Airport to watch the planes take off and land. He gets exercise walking & running while taking a ball or kite to amuse him as well (short attention spand), also a basket or extra $$$ to have lunch on a blanket in the grass. Try it; you may realize it will be a great w/o for you and those who accompany you all for the trip! Hope it helps til next time Ta Ta!

Noah will be 9 months old on June 1st. We live in Petworth too, and we go to the 

Petworth Library for storytime. DCJCC is superb for baby swim classes. Some other local favorites are the parks (Kalorama, Woodley) and farmers markets (Penn Quarter, Columbia Heights). Sometimes we simply take to the pavement... we've done parts of the city's heritage trails through the U Street Corridor, Mt. Pleasant, Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, and Georgetown.
