Oh yea my 7 year old had the worst tantrums ever. She would cry her eyes would get small and she would stiffen her body and hold her breath at times and the only way I could calm her down was taking her a cool warm shower. I did not like the tantrums she had but it runs through my family I guess because some of my nephews tend to have done the same thing before as well. The only option I had was to try to and soothe her the best way possible by letting her calm down in the shower. I am hoping my 8 month old doesn't have those tantrums as she its older.

Thanks NoJaNi91 I am really enjoying getting to watch her grow up and learn everything. I keep telling myself if i was still working i'd still be missing her grow up. I missed her first steps and it tore me up so I am really grateful for this opportunity. I was wondering when your 7 yr old was younger did she have monster tantrums? and how did you deal with them???

Hi sdnorm I have a 8 month old and she is a little wild thing as well :-) She is going to be a strong character! I have two girls a 7 yr old and the 8 month old and I have been a stay at home mom for a while but still in college receiving my education for my career whenever I do decide to go out and work. I have had the opportunity to be a stay at home mommy because my fiance is a spectacular man and he does everything possible for me and his kids and even helps me with our daughters when I need help at times. It is such a great privelege to watch every aspect of you're children's lives as they grow up and I love being a stay at home. You will get used to it but it will be hard since you are probably used to getting out and being a hard working mommy I'm sure. I know I found it hard when I did work and stopped working because of the schedule that I was used to and now having to get adjusted to being home . I hope it all works out.

Hey there! I have a beautiful and wild 14 month old little girl. She is as wild as she is cute :) I just became a stay at home mom and I guess I am still working out how to be one. I love being home with her, and am very grateful I got to leave my job.

I am. Luckily i get to create my own schedule with working. Im also blessed that most of the time they have the same afternoon nap schedule so I make all my phone calls during that time and do my complementary facials when my husband gets home from work.
