Help!!! My son is fourteen months and he is constantly slapping me.  He does it constantly.  I correct him by telling him no firmly, holding his hands down. That wasn't working so I would then ignore him and he would cry and want my attention.  I don't know how to correct this behavior.  He hardly ever does it to my husband but always does it to me.  Does anyone have any advice?

Sydney is actually doing pretty well lately sleeping through the night. I switched her to toddler formula. I was skeptical at first but it seems to hold her over longer. She has only been getting up between 4-5 for a bottle now!!

I'll try both of these. Thanks!

Something that helps my son sleep through the night is he has a cool mist humidifier next to his crib. And then if he has a really hard time sleeping we play music that we would play to him while I was pregnant really soft along with the humidifier. Hope that helps. :)

Too funny...our night last night was great too. Bed at 9:30 and slept till 5:30. Then a 2 hour nap from 9-11... Hope it continues!

We finally had a great night of sleep last night, I probably shouldn't even mention it or jinx myself! Sydney went to bed around 10:30 and slept til 5am, then took a bottle and slept until 8:15 this morning!! Not sure what it was, she did take more milk before bed. This momma was excited to get some sleep!!

I guess my voicing my concern has worked, because he woke up the first time I laid him down, and the second time he stayed asleep and is still sleeping. I hope this lasts..

My daughter Sydney never sleeps through the night either, although she is getting a little better about it. I try to make sure she gets a big dinner and a snack before her bedtime bottle. A bath with lavender lotion seems to soothe her some. We still have those nights where I can't lay her down but they are rare.

My son, Evan, is 11 months today and he's going through a bad sleeping phase as well. He's never been a great sleeper and still regularly wakes up once a night for a feeding, but now he seems to be going back to newborn habits and getting up every two hours! It's killing us right now. I think it's either teething or a growth spurt.
