Joanne,

That does totally stink!  I do hope the recovery is quicker then 8 weeks!

Shiryst, Great tips!

Try exercising and massaging his arms and legs. Play soothing/sleepy time music for comfort. Or Shelbi's favorite read a book, or watch nursery rhymes on her tablet.

Thanks Amber! She hasn't said much other than it could take up to 8 weeks for a full recovery. It just sucks because he was just starting to try rolling over, holding his bottle, pulling up with our hands etc. This virus kicked his butt.

Hi Joanne,

So sorry to hear about your little one and the RSV issues!  Has the doctor said anything?  I think it will probably take a little while for your little one to fully recover- and that's ok.  You can work with him by letting him down on the floor on his belly for a bit- or just lying down on the floor with him with toys- if he gets tired, don't be too surprised, his body still is probably recovering!

My baby isn't doing much of anything. I'm sure it's because he's being held ALL OF THE TIME. However, he was doing so well until he got RSV. He was very ill for 3 weeks and is now just on the mend. It seems as if Maximus has lost or "forgotten" all of his progress. What should I do?

Michelle,
Thanks for the update! My little one got more used to them as we did them more- but I totally know what you mean when you say LO doesn't like them!

We went for the physical therapy evaluation and they said she has a vey mild case and some stretches and exercises should do the trick. Mommy just has to do them 6 times a day (and LO do not like them!)

Thanks everyone. We have an appointment for a physical therapy evaluation on Tuesday. I also made an appointment with a pediatric orthopedist just to get a specialists opinion and because im a Nervous first time mom. We will also be looking into the chiropractic way, someone else has mentioned that it. I guess it's more common than I thought. I will keep you posted. Thanks again for the support (I really needed it!)
