Comment by Katie, Mom365 Host on June 20, 2012 at 5:07pm Hmm, you could try but he might be a little young for finger foods at this point. Sorry to mislead you! I just found this article in the Mom365 archive and it suggests starting finger foods at 8 or 9 months.
Comment by ravenwolf837 on June 19, 2012 at 8:54pm just fruit and veggies in the jar and cereal and breast milk

Comment by ravenwolf837 on June 15, 2012 at 6:43pm he loves the sweet potato baby food and no allergies. but he has no teeth yet would that still be ok? could he just gum it?
Comment by Katie, Mom365 Host on June 15, 2012 at 6:22pm @ravenwolf837, has your baby had sweet potato baby food and been ok, no allergies? I think the fries would be ok then, just skip the salt and make sure they are nice and cool before giving them to your lo. I make them for myself, using the store-bought ones from the freezer section and baking them on a slightly oiled baking sheet. Yum!
