My son is 18 and daughter is 21 months, you are right on that part... He's always telling me that he'll never have a baby because of all the things that he's seeing right now. He loves his little sissy though like no other, they love to play hide and seek and tickle tickle :)

My 17yr and 9 month are exact clones of each other, both with Red hair and I have blonde and my husband dark brown. So they are quick to assume, he blows it off most of the time. I remember when I was 17 and people in HS thought my cousin was my kid, that I was watching the summer between Junior and Senior year for my Aunt who had major surgery right after he was born and couldn't care for him. It created extra stress for me and I don't want him to have that stress.

@momof3boys no one has actually asked. I just see the looks in their faces

How do you and have you responded to people comments to your teen assuming the baby is theirs and not a sibling?

@trwinsto I have a 14 year old daughter and 2 bonus children (13 yr old girl and a 9 yr old boy) and now a 4week old baby girl.

I make it a point to answer any and all questions when people ask awww how old is she while looking directly at my 14 year old while she is holding her baby sister.... So annoying when people assume.

Oh and dont you just love it when you are holding your baby and they ask your teenage daughter if she is hers!

Ahh yes a 16 year old and an 8 month old! Everyone told me I was crazy for getting pregnant. They said you are starting all over again! But I always thought no im refreshed and ready to go again! I thought that having a teen when I got pregnant was going to be so easy! So wrong! When Im dealing with my screaming baby my teenage daughter is coming to me with a huge problem "mom I dont have any shoes to match my outfit I am wearing tomorrow!" Or "mom did you wash those jeans I like? I put them in the laundry like 2 days ago!" Yes it is way harder with a teen and when I say "can you watch your sister for a minute?" She will follow me around with her till I take her back lol. So glad I found this group!

Hi, Glad I'm not alone.

I have a 16yr, 10yr & 4mo old sons.

Some friends still think I'm nuts and want nothing to do with the new baby, even though god parent of older kids. Others are so excited especially grandmas, which I didn't expect, So that is good :)

The 16 year old asked really what were we thinking, when told, but loves the baby so much. the 10 yr old mad not a sister.

So many really want a girl, thinking about adopting. Anyone have any experience?

I'd love to get a little one sooner so I could BF while still making milk for the little one.
