Hi, Glad I'm not alone.

I have a 16yr, 10yr & 4mo old sons.

Some friends still think I'm nuts and want nothing to do with the new baby, even though god parent of older kids. Others are so excited especially grandmas, which I didn't expect, So that is good :)

The 16 year old asked really what were we thinking, when told, but loves the baby so much. the 10 yr old mad not a sister.

So many really want a girl, thinking about adopting. Anyone have any experience?

I'd love to get a little one sooner so I could BF while still making milk for the little one.

Hello newcomers.  So many of us have children with such big age groups, yet I seem to be the only one I know of in person.  My kids are ages 19, 15 almost 16, 3, and 2.  The youngest is a girl.  I work full time.  Wish I didn't.  It's difficult working.  But I'm saying that now.  After a few days I would probably wish to be at work.  I was a stay at home mom with my first two.

Hi everyone.I'm 36 I have a almost 19 year old son 14 yr old son daughter just turned 6 and my newest daughter 4 months old and I think having them spread out in age is better that way. At least for me having babies back to back would have been harder and this way they have all gotten mommy time to themselves as infants and toddlers. They are all a blessing!

Hi all I am 35 and have a 17 yr old boy, a 13 year old boy, an almost 12 year old boy, a 10 year old boy, a 5 year old boy, and our newest is an almost 8 month old  boy. Our house is never quiet. I had my tubes done so he is also our last.

I have 20, 17, and a 5 month old. I am 41 years old. Shew. My daughter is 20, son is 17 and my 5 month old is also a boy. We also a blended family which my boyfriend has a 13 year old son. Needless to say our house can be crazy at times. My daughter always wanted me to have another one and she just loves her little brother and spoils him. She is also a big help to me as well. I never thought of having anymore but he is just a blessing and such a happy baby always has a smile on his face.

Well this definitely sounds like the perfect group for me... I have a 17 year old son and now a 9 month old daughter who was truly a BIG SURPRISE!! especially that I am 40 and had not planned on having anymore kids... I am having a difficult time adjusting too the age difference with my kids... I do work fulltime and am in the process of completing my master's so my plate is very full right now.... my energy level is not like it was when I had my son at 23 so I know this is playing a major role with how I am adjusting as well... any suggestions on how I can begin too get back in the swing of things??

I have a 13 year old and a 7 month old.  I am glad to see that I am not the only one who has this surprise.  My 13 year old is a great help and my 7 month old is a dream child...other than the pain from teething right now (he already has two cute little bottom teeth), he flirts with all the women and is all boy with the men.  Loves the remotes and the cell phones.  I know it is a blessing.  I just turned forty and it is more difficult than when I was 27 but I am smarter and wiser now than I was then.  Being in a blended family is a little more difficult because my boyfriend has an 11 year old boy too.  I am outnumbered but I like being around the boys.  I connect with them easier.  I always wanted another baby and I got what I asked for.  I couldn't be happier!
