I have seen some bottle warmers. I really would like one that has a car adapter so I can travel with him. Does anyone have any recommendations?

My son had a huge blowout last week--really his first ever, and of course we were on an airplane, augh! Would it have been as bad if I hadn't put him in cheap Walgreens-brand diapers? We usually use Luvs and are very happy with them, no leaks/problems....then again, my son doesn't ever have poop disasters, so I don't know if the diaper quality was to blame.

I have a Medela Pump-in-Style Advanced (shoulder bag). I love it; it's so quiet I've had two people walk in on me while pumping at work (They couldn't hear it working!). I also like that you can use a car adapter with it.

I would also recommend the storage bottles (you can buy them in a 12-pack) - you can pump into these, freeze milk or store in the fridge, then wash and re-use. The bags you can pump into are kind of a pain to get the milk into and out of cleanly (it always seemed like a fair bit was still in the bag).

However, I wouldn't recommend using the Medela bottles for feeding - I just use them to pump into and store the milk. (The nipples that come with the kit are what they call wide, but not really. My son also sucked so hard he would get them to collapse! They also seemed to encourage a different latch on the bottle than the latch he uses on the breast, which seemed to mess up his latch on the breast for a bit.)

I have used the Medela Pump in Style Advanced for 8 months now. I absolutely love this pump and would highly recommend it to mommies-to-be. It's super quiet and easy to use.
