Comment by RebekahFaye on December 16, 2012 at 9:59am Hello everyone! I'm so excited to join this group! I'm fairly new to Mom365. My daughter Shayla Grace was born 09/09/12, 6 lbs. 12oz., 21inc. at 12:28 a.m. Mom365 came in and took a beautiful set of photos of her, after she was released from the NICU and I was able to have her in my room again. I have visited the website frequently after that, and finally decided to make a profile recently.I am eager to make friends with some fellow mothers. Please feel free to send a request my way. :-)
Comment by Jonquel. on November 29, 2012 at 10:17am Hi everyone! I'm new to this group, I'm 24, married & a first time mom to a gorgeous baby girl Jayana who was born July 29, 2012. I love being a mother! Jayana brings so much joy in our lives and we're just thankful for God blessing us with our little angel. I love watching her grow everyday & see her learn new things and I cannot wait to see her grow up and become the strong, beautiful, intelligent, successful, God-fearing woman I know she will be one day. We want to continue to guide her on the right path, to give her strength and confidence so she can tackle the world and all that life presents to her. To teach her to be a good person, keeping God first in everything, loving freely, respecting diversity and appreciating all that life has to offer her so she can thrive and flourish to become the best she can be. I know that I'm a first time mom & I still have a lot to learn as a parent but I promise to protect her no matter what and always do the best I can and when I know better, I'll do better. Always!
New to this group but not new to the mommying business :). I am 24 years old, married for 6 years. I have a 4 year old, a 2 year old and am due in 12 days with our 3rd daughter. I'm currently homeschooling our 4 year old in kindergarten and am helping my hubby build a room in our rented duplex for our new addition. Been super busy lately but we're finishing up and will hopefully be ready for this LO to join us. I'm all about schedules and have breastfed my babies until they are at least 1 year old. We lost a baby between the 2 we have now but celebrate his birthday just as we do for our other children - we make it a family day. I want to be my children's friend but I have chosen to be their mommy now so that when they are all grown up we can be great friends. My husband and I get comments on how well behaved our children are how "lucky" we are. Haha!
I want my children to grow up right and have learned that we all have our strengths and weeknesses. I have a harder time disciplining my child if I have the same weekness but that is one of the biggest things they (and I) need.
