Thanks so much Amber! Yes, I think that the use of 2 languages delay the learning. Will ask for help and also continue reading to him to see of there is an improvement!
Again thanks, Yani

Hi Yani!
Welcome! Bi-lingual homes can see a slowness in language development- although that isn't always bad. Most of the time the kids are just taking some extra time to figure out the words since they hear such a variety. It couldn't hurt to go to the program your doctor recommended- they usually are a great help. Keep talking to your little one, reading books to him- and check out the program. My bet is that everything will be just fine! :)

Hi! Im new in the group! Decided to join to share/ ask about baby language development. My baby doesn't want to speak yet and we are desperate to listen something (well hecsometimes says ma-ma and pa-pa but not necessarily directly to us!) We speak spanish and english. My husband started speaking by 2 years apprx. But Im concern. He can perfectly hear us. The peditrician recommended a child development program to gelp us.
Any advice to help him??? Thanks!!!
