Hi im new to this group so heres a lil bit about my family of 5. I am 30 years old been married to my wonderful husband for almost 13 years and have three children. The oldest is my daughter Hailie who is 13 and will be 14 on Nov. 3 rd. My second child is also a girl named Hannah who is 11 but will be 12 on June. 15 Th and my third and last child is my son Haiden who was born on July 24 Th 2012 and will be 9 months on April 24 Th. i am a stay at home mom right now but on workers comp due to a shoulder injury that i got at work in September of 2011. I had to wait till last month to have shoulder surgery to fix the damage from over a year ago because i got pregnant 2 months after the injury so i had to wait and have my son and heal before i could have it done. I have also been struggling with postpartum depression since my son was 3 weeks old. Im getting treatment for it but nothing has helped so far. Its been very very hard and a daily struggle this past 8 months. On top of the shoulder injury its made it so hard to get through each day. Im here if anyone wants to talk or has anything in common with me. If not thats ok too i love getting to know people. Thanks and i hope to hear from mommy's in this group very soon.

My name is Sarah. My husband & I welcomed our first child on July 19. Our son, Timothy Joseph (Timmy) is the greatest blessing and we are enjoying every minute with him. I never knew this love existed! We are so inlove with every inch of him! He makes us laugh all day with his awesome personality! I can't believe how fast the time is passing by. He will be 8 months and I still feel like I just had him, although I don't remember life without him!

Hi ,there I'm a very proud mom of a precious strong little girl who is 7 months old now, my pregnancy was rough but right now I can only remember the great experience and I realized how much I loved it!, my delivery was 18 hours of many many pains and after 4 hours of pushing without progress had a c- section, but all worth it.!!, now Im a 24/7 mom who will do everything for my little one and learning day by day.

I gave birth to my amazing littleman 14 days before my 28th birthday which is weird because for one, I was told I would never be able to have kids after a botched c-section when I was 17 and I always said if I didn't have children before I was 28, I wasn't having any. I have been so blessed. My pregnancy was rough but absolutely worth it! My delivery was of course via c-section  which was difficult as well, I was on the operating table for over an hour before I got to hear the joyous screams from the most precious gift I could ever receive. He is now almost 7 months old, crawling everywhere and pulling himself to the standing position on any and everything he can grab. He sleeps from 8:30 at night until 7:30-8 in the morning, He is on Solid foods for lunch and Dinner and gets a bout 3 bottles a day. I am now attempting to get him to use his sippy cup so I can get him off a bottle easier. He loves going to the beach and is truly the greatest gift ever given to me and my husband!

I'm 24, My daughter was born July 16th 2012 and at 2 weeks early she still weighed a whooping 8 lbs exactly and was 20 1/2 inches. At her 6 month check up she is now 20 lbs and 27 1/2 inches. She was sleeping thru the night until she started teething. She is my little miracle baby... kinda. I was told not 3 months before I got pregnant that I would either never have children or have extreme difficultly conceiving because of my Hashimoto's Thryoiditis.

Hi everyone. I'm 23 years old. I gave birth to my baby boy July 16th, 2012 at 11:51pm weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces & 19 3/4 inches. I went in to do my regular Monday check-up at the doctor's and next thing I know I was 5 centimeters & being that I had a daughter who died through still birth at 42 weeks, they just induced me right then at 38weeks. I absolutely love being a mom. His dad helps every so often by taking him on the weekends, so I'm taking care of him all week long. My son started teething with a cold since he was 3 months, he's now 6 months. Yet, none of his teeth grew in yet. Patiently waiting though. I've been giving him more baby food then formula milk to lean him off it so that when its time for him to drink regular milk & food it won't be so hard for him to adjust especially since he had a sensitive stomach. He's sleeping habits went from bad (newborn) to good sleeping from 6-8 (3-5 months) and just recently about 2-3 weeks now he has been getting up around 3 no matter what time he goes to bed. But his naps during the day lasts now about 2-4 hours. My biggest worry is starting work soon & putting him in daycare. I trust NO ONE with my son plus he's so attached to me so this is gonna be very hard on him & myself. I don't what to do. Any suggestions?

Hello, I am Amber. I am a first mom. I had my little Nathaniel on July 17th at 2:13 pm. I am so thankful for having this little guy in my life. The only real road blocks we seem to have with him is his tantrums and his sleeping habits.

One good thing is that even though his real father left the picture before he was even born, his soon to be step dad has picked up the slack and makes sure he shows my son he is loved. Now the only worry I have is I am to be a military wife soon and I am unsure how a young child will take a sudden change in scenery.

Hi, I became a new mom to my baby boy finally in my 40's and I have been enjoying every single minute of it. He's now 5 mo and 1 week old and he hasnt taken a daytime nap in his crib much. At night time, he does ok in his crib; wakes up every 2-4 hours.

Does anybody has an idea how I can get him take a nap in his crib during the day? His crib is in his room and I've been trying to get him used his room since he moved to the room at 2mo old from our bedroom.

He used to take a map on his bouncer sometimes when he was 1-2 mo old.

Well I dont really know how this works quite yet. But I'm Erin. I am a first time mother of my daughter named Delyla. She was born July 30th at 10:25am after 15 hours of labor. They say you will forget that pain buuuuuut im pretty sure ill never forget it.....but I plan on having more children :-D Let me be the first to tell you that I absolutely love love love every minute of being a mother. If I could stay at home every day instead of going to work I would do it in a heartbeat :-) I have decided to join this little group to get to talk to more people. Im 27 years old and right before I had gotten pregnant I was quite the party animal.....as some of you may know your friends start dropping off the face of the earth. Eventhough I have a very involved father for my child, he works nights so he can watch the baby during the day so he's sleeping when I get home from work until he goes to work so I have quite the lonely lifestyle.....so hello to everyone....its nice meeting you :-)

What a great story, Naomi. You (and everyone else!) should post it to our Birth Stories collection, if you haven't already. http://www.mom365.com/birthstories
