My little one loves to "bulldoze" her head into me when she's sleepy. Any thoughts?

The past couple weeks I have occasionally caught my 13-mo old son headbanging while he's in his crib trying to fall asleep. How have other moms dealt with this? I've read that it's harmless and they…Continue

Hello Everyone,
My son was born On Jan. 6, 2011. He has been a true blessing so far. I was wondering if he is behind on his talking. He can say Mama and Dada, book, ball, up and elmo. And of course NO. He can say things like nose or down but only when he feels like it. I keep telling him to point to where Mama is and sometimes he points wherever he feels like. Is he where he should be at this age??
Thank You :0)
Comment by Christie505 on January 20, 2012 at 10:29am My son was 1 yr on the 10th and I am working on the same issue. I only breastfeed now when I am putting him down for naps (2 times a day) and when I put him to bed for the night. At night he wakes usually about 2 times to feed or just to be pacified which is great compared to the 4-6 times he used to get up. I haven't pumped for months and I still have milk at those times. I thought I would dry up but haven't yet. Try posting on the breastfeeding group too they have alot of great advice for these situations. Good Luck! :)

Comment by Ruthie on December 27, 2011 at 11:00am Hi, everyone! My son was born Jan. 20! He weighed 8 lbs and was 20.5 in. He is my first child and he is the WORLD to me. It's amazing that he is now 11 months and he will soon be a year old. He is so active and crawls everywhere. He stands on his own and tries to walk. He has 8 teeth! Four on top and four on the bottom. He is always so happy cheerful!
Hi all, new to this site. Happy to find a place to connect with other Jan 2011 mom's. My baby Patrick will be 1 on 1/7 and I've been planning his B'day party for weeks (FTM). This is so exciting - I know, I'm pathetic.....can't count the number of hours I've spent searching for the perfect invite, goody bag, decorations. We've decided on a Puppy theme......Tater, our dog is his favorite thing and was his first word. Cake tasting is tomorrow!
Also, so excited about his first Christmas. We're finding a way to squeeze visits to both families this year. Wish us luck. Have a wonderful Christmas all!
