We have a 20 month old son and a 4 month old daughter. I am Korean American and my husband is French. We've been very lucky in that our child raising philosophies are similar and haven't had any huge disagreements so far. It will be interesting to see how that goes once both kids are in school.

My son is five months old. No, we don't have cultural problems since we both are big on scientific methods so we go by the book and follow the latest in research. We had a problem with my mom who was here for the first three months because she wanted to do it old school:) How about you?

Hi Ahlam, I am African American and my child's father is African. My child is almost 1 1/2. How old is yours? Do you find that you struggle with differing cultural beliefs when it comes to raising your child(ren)?
