I too was born in New Jersey and grew up there and Pennsylvania. I moved to Illinois two years ago. Since I'm a full-time working mommy of three I haven't been able to meet many friends...so hopefully here's my chance :)

I'm a Chicagoan by ancestry, and now a Chicagoan in my own right. My grandparents grew up here, but I grew up in Pennsylvania, Michigan and New Jersey.

Hi all...I'm a newbie and loving it so far! I'm a first time mom with my little man!! We are near Scott AFB my hubby got stationed here and we have been here for almost a year now! Being from south carolina originally we are a good way from all of our family, but we have made new friends up here and have grown to be able to call this home as well!

Just joinedthis site today! My son Thomas was born 6/18/2011. I live in Bloomington Il and am trying to get adjusted being a stay at home mom. Anyone on here that lives inBloomington or surrounding areas?

I am new to this site. I am from near Mount Vernon, Illinois and I have a dd that is 5 weeks away from being one!! She was born July 20th. She is my one and only child at this time. She is funny and delightful but she is going through a tantrum stage!

Hi @Natasha,
I teach Music Together. It's been so great. It gets me out of the house. Plus, I love children and I love to sing, so it's really been a fun way to earn some extra cash!
