It's really like Im starting all over again because my first child is 9 years old. Carter was born 8wks early but was a healthy 4lbs 13 oz, 18 in long little boy w a head full of hair. He did have to stay in the NIC unit for 3 weeks because he did not have the sucking reflex. He needed a feeding tube for a while until he learned how to suck from a bottle. These 3 months have taught me how to be strong and that you can handle more than you think. Carter is home, healthy, and not a preemie anymore. My baby boy is 13lbs 8oz and 23 1/4 ins long! ;)

Comment by kha and mari's mom on June 9, 2012 at 4:08am: Hello everyone. My son Ahmari was born on February 10th at 6lbs 3oz 19 in. I also have a 4 year old son. 2 boys lol. I see some of the comments the first time mommy's write about their little ones changing there world's and being the best things ever and it makes me think back to my first. Guess what it's actually the same way the second time around. At his two month check up he was 10lbs and 22 in. I can't wait to see how much he weighs now. Is anyone else dealing with teething? One thing that he likes is when I put an ice cube in one of his socks and let him chew on it. Oh and I'm exclusively breast feeding so if anyone has any advice or needs any I'm here to listen and contribute :-)
