Happy Birthday, December 2011 babies and moms! Congrats on making it through Year 1 together. We'd like to wish you lots of luck, fun and happiness in the coming year, and look forward to sharing the next 12 months of milestones with you!

Hey guys my son was born 12-23-12 he is 9 months old he crawls all over and has even taken his first steps he also stands on his own and has 6 teeth...He's active all the time however i don't know how to get my poor little guy to sleep through the night...he;s happy when he first wakes up but when he;s been up for a while my poor lil guy has more bags under his eyes than his mommy....

Hi all! New to this....I love reading all your posts. My daughter is 9 months, born Dec 6, 2011. She really is different from my 3 boys. She's as much fun as my boys but man does she have mood swings, hahaha. She's kinda quirky I think. My boys call her "peep" but she's more like a puppy. She eats paper (she's quick), chews on shoes and sucks on pillow tags or any other tag she can stick in her mouth. LOL! My boys never did those things. They climbed and knocked stuff over.....well o.k. she does that too, see like a puppy! She's been crawling since last July and loves to swim with my boys. My boys were always afraid of the water so her loving the water is so foreign to me. That's all upside...downside is she doesn't sleep in her own bed....not for a lack of trying of course. I just don't let her cry because I want my boys and husband to sleep. She and I sleep in the livingroom and when she fusses I nurse her. I know I know, I should have broken this little habit from the beginning but I couldn't help it! Anyway, now I'm wanting to get her to sleep in her bed but I don't know how. My last baby was 9 years ago! Well, I look forward to reading your posts and maybe get a little help here and there. Just because I've had children before doesn't mean I know what to do now. Thanks all!!

My little girl was born 12/31/12. She started crawling at 6 months and now stands while holding something for support. All babies start at different times. i dont believe u have anything to worry about your babies time will come:)

Hi ladies my daughter is 9 months and she doesn't crawl either. She likes to be on her stomach and do the spider move like kicking her legs and arms that's it. She is so petite and fragile at the same time totaly different from her big sister. She is not interrested on crawling, but love to jump in her jumper all days long. She is happy when I put her on the stair, but won't try to go up just slid down. Her brother and sister try to show her how to crawl, but she just look at them and smile. Yes, I do feel sometime that she is slow for her age, then I look at her and say she is still little. My oldest never very crawl, she just walked. My second one crawl in his right leg and his left arm weird, he did it for awhile then walk. This one I don't know, she is curious about everything, but when you ask her to do it she just smile at you.

@proudmomma my boy was 9 months on the 12th. He doesn't crawl either. I am not worried. My oldest who is now 8 never crawled. He would do the "worm" or army crawl. But if you are that concerned address it with your ped at the next visit.

Hi my name is Michelle, I had my daughter 12-20-11 she will be 9 months on the 20th of this month but I feel like she is behind on her milestones, she just started sitting up on her own she's a little wobbly but she still sits there by herself. But the problem is she won't crawl yet and that makes me feel like she's behind does anyone else agree or have any suggestions??
