Multiple stores, saving or not?

So here's how I do it--each week I check out three grocery stores' ads, plus Target and Walgreen's, and then I plan my shopping lists accordingly. If there are only a few good deals at a store, I…Continue

I didn't do that, but when I did the Brita pitcher rebate, it look a good 12 weeks to get it! You can always find the number to call and ask them, make sure they received your rebate!

Did anyone do the Safeway/ General Mills Try Me Free Offer back in March? I'm still waiting on the rebate. I guess it's only been 7 or 8 weeks, that seems like a long time though, right?

Heads' up, they just changed the Amazon Moms program, and now the discount is only 5%, plus you can get 15% more off if you sign up for the subscribe and save program. Plus they now have a wait list to join.

Seems like even with only a 20% discount Amazon still has the best prices on name-brand diapers, right? Or where are you all purchasing your diapers?

Thank you for responding. I am going to look into the Amazon Moms program. I have started to try and cut coupons for everything and then half the time I forget to take them. I am going to take your advice and I am going to just start by cutting out what we use and looking for the best deal on diapers. Again thank you!

Welcome, Rose! I've seen from your other posts that you are a super-busy working/studying mama, so you don't want couponing to take up too much of your precious time. My advice is just to start paying attention to the prices of things you buy regularly at your regular grocery store, and start to stock up on things when you see a good price and can afford it. If you can buy something on sale AND you have a coupon for it, that's a big win. Also make sure you have your store's club card if they offer one (I believe Kroger's has them). As for diapers, I have personally found Luvs to be the best deal and they work for us, so I buy them online at Amazon--if you do the Subscribe and Save program and join the Amazon Moms program, the diapers are 30% off with free shipping. It's super easy to manage your orders and deliveries too, so you never have to run out.

I am new to this site. My name is Rose and I am just getting into the couponing world.  I find a few adds in the paper. I here that Fry's (Kroger) has attachable on-line coupons. I need some help! Butat least do I have a good start? I am 21 years old and my son Tre is 16 months old and I love him but diapers are expensive.

A big coup for me, I just got 12 rolls of Scotch Tape for $5 at Walgreens...3 3-packs +1 free bonus on sale for $1.99 and then I had a $1 off coupon when you buy three packs. There was probably some tax too so maybe $5.50. This is about as good as I get. It's a lot of tape, lol!

or have you ever used the website Freecycle? Not sure how big it is nationwide but it's pretty active here in Seattle. You just post anything you want to give away for free, and some people do post food that they don't want to go to waste.
