Comment by ksimeon81 on July 29, 2011 at 8:04am Hi, I am a mom of a 6-year-old girl and a week-old baby boy. There have been challenges with the difference in genders even during my pregnancy. I had an amazing pregnancy with my daughter, and a very difficult one with my son. But last Wednesday, when I gave birth to my son, I noticed that every ache and pain, every tear and sob was worth it just to hold my baby boy in my hands, the same way I felt when I first laid eyes on my beautiful baby daughter six years ago. I remember thinking, "Oh, my God. She is beautiful!" And when my son was born, I couldn't stop smiling for almost an hour. I am very happy with my children and only pray that God grant me the ability to treat these children He has given the way He has treated me throughout my motherhood.
Comment by vongxay.jenny on May 28, 2011 at 9:28am Good Morning EVERYONE! I'm a new mom to a now 3 month old baby girl. Her name is Aurora. She's very socialable and she loves seeing new things...So I take her to the park where I can meet up with 3 of my other mommy family members and friends. We sit where there is nice shade and very close to the playground. We bring toys and interact with each child just the same. My sister has two daughters age 5 and 1; The 5 year old is autistic and she loves that babies! If we can not go to the park, we would go to the beach where there is also a playground.
Comment by Katie, Mom365 Host on May 25, 2011 at 3:34pm Hi Everyone,
I am new to the group. My son is 17 months old now. I live in the Hartford County Area. Does anyone know of toddler groups that are NOT in the day. I am a working mom and I cannot go to all the toddler groups/events that are in the day.
For those who can go to infant/toddler groups check out www.harthosp.org/classes they have 6 week session starting tom (5/25) for Infants and a second group for Toddlers...10AM-11AM.. there is a fee for the class.
