Hi there!  I'm new to this site, but not to university life.

I started going to college when I was 15.  Now, almost  13 years later, I'm finally looking at GRADUATING.

I wish I could blame parenthood for my inability to finish before now, but my twins are only two and a half years old.  Rather, it's just that I never felt motivated to actually finish anything.  I just wanted to learn, who needed a piece of paper?  But now?

Here's a little about my attitude towards college and toddlers:

Hey Ladies!!!! I just grad with my AS in Interior Design in June then enrolled back into school as a Pre-Occupational Therapy student the same month. Since I have to have a masters degree, I will be in school another 5 years. :( It will be worth it. I have 5 kiddos. Right now I an on maternity leave. My next class is not until Jan. 31. I have an amazing hubby that helps with the kids. My biggest battle is knowing that I will be 33 whe I start my career.

Hi, my name is Rose and I go to NAUwhich is in AZ. It is also finals week and I am stressing mager. Has anyone else been able to find a good balance with school and a baby yet, I still am having trouble finding it in my life. I feel bad when I can hear my son Tre crying and I am in the next room having to finish an assignment. I know that his dad, grandmother, or sitter has him and will take care of him but I feel guilty and sad. Anyone in the same boat?

NewMomma I am in the same boat as you. It gets very frustrating waiting to get into nursing school. I hav a 3.0 and did awesome on my entrance exam but still get rejected! What else is there for us to do?!

She's at a hospital in Minneapolis... she started out with the not-as-sick preemies and babies and now she takes care of the very sick little ones, like the babies born at 23 weeks. Nurses are amazing!

That's awesome. My sister is a NICU nurse, she loves it!

Good for you, Chelsea! I know it's hard, but hang in there...nurses are so in demand and they make pretty good money, as I'm sure you know :) Plus the varied schedules can be so good for moms juggling baby/kids and work.
