I do not have a sanitary cycle. I did three washes with detergent, bleach, tea tree oil and vinegar. Overkill. Then a double dry in the dryer.

I think she was not getting changed often enough at daycare since they're used to changing disposables that absorb moisture better.

My daughter got her first yeast infection, she is one.

Is there anything I need to do with the cloth diapers to clean them better?

Do you think she is not being changed enough and the moisture caused the infection?

Hi ladies, I am expecting my 2nd son in January and am going to CD with him. I'm so excited about it. I took advantage of the BabyCenter/SoftBums offer that is going on right now. http://www.softbums.com/Babycenter-Starter-Kit_p_212.html

I know I really enjoy cloth diapering! I think they are soo adorable! I think having a diaper sprayer makes it simple to get the pooh out with no diaper service needed.

I heard on the radio this morning that cloth diapering costs about $500/child, vs. $2,500 for disposables. Way to save big money and the environment, cloth diapering mamas!

We had diaper service too (San Diego Earthy Baby diaper service). It is fantastic!! Just put our bag out for pick up. Keep up the good work to all who do their own washing!! :) I don't know how I 'd have time to do the washing without the service.

I thought I wouldn't find a diaper service here and figured I'd have to buy the bum genius but I think I lucked out cause I was able to try out cloth diapers without too much commitment. I really love cloth diapers. I've been trying out different wraps that have different designs but just plain white ones are fine
