Where is everyone at in the book? I didn't post a reading goal for this week so I'm not sure how far everyone is into the book. I'm sure you've gotten to know the Vagner family history by now, right (through p. 147). Kind of a creepy group, I think,…Continue

What's the deal with the 50 Shades of Grey books? Would a non-Twilight fan like them?

Has anyone read Still Life with Husband by Lauren Fox or her second book, Friends Like These? I like her writing style, very character-driven.

Ok, scratch that--Bossypants is awesome! I love Tina Fey's outlook on life!

That's a good idea, Christi! I have a copy from the library, and I'm debating whether I really want to read it. I read a few pages and so far it is just coming off like any other comedianne's writing. I really love Tina, I don't want her to be ruined for me.

Bossypants was hilarious! Though I must say, I got the audiobook. IMO that's one to hear the author read to really get the most out of it (similar to anything by David Sedaris).

My husband got it for me for my birthday on Friday- haven't had the chance to open it up yet!

A little introduction to my reading style... I take it where I can get it. :P

P.S. burp, I think we're not going to do another book club book. Just doesn't seem to be enough interest.

thanks for the tip :)

I just started the Marriage Plot, so far it seems pretty good. I also want to read The Paris Wife about one of Hemingway's wives. Plus Bossypants from Tina Fey just came out in paperback!
