Hello Atlanta Moms!!
I'm writing to see how many of you would be interested in meeting up for a playdate/picnic in the park. We can wait to maybe May or June to do it. Possibly meet at Piedmont park one Saturday. We could all bring balls, frisbees, outside toys and let the kids crawl, walk and run awhile while we moms get to meet and greet as well. If this is something you all are interested in, let me know and maybe after that we can try to meet up once a month or every other month. Let me know. Ideas welcomed...

Permalink Reply by Erika Campbell on March 3, 2011 at 10:05am I agree, I think that's a great idea. If anyone is interested in doing anything before then:
Atlanta Children's Museum has Target Free Second Tuesdays
Through a sponsorship by Target, admission is free for all visitors who come during these special hours. The free tickets will be available at the Museum starting at 1 p.m. during each Target Free Second Tuesday, and the Museum will close at 7 p.m. (& at 8 p.m. on June and July dates). The free tickets are issued on a first come first served basis as Museum capacity permits. Once the Museum reaches capacity, tickets are only issued as capacity in the Museum becomes available. Reservations are not accepted.
For us moms who are Bank of America and Merrill Lynch credit/debit card holders:
Bank of America has the Museums on Us Program
Get in free to the High Museum or the Atlanta History Center on the first weekend of every month (just have to have your debit/credit with you)
March 5&6
April 2&3
May 7&8
June 4&5
July 2&3
I haven't been to the High in ages so i'm really looking forward of taking advantage of this. I think my son may like looking at the art as well.
