Hi everyone! I'm a SAHM to two beautiful girls. My youngest is 13 months and my oldest is 6 years old and will be entering 1st grade in the fall.  We live in the Newnan area and would love to connect with other SAHM's in the area.  My tip of the day is this, Regal Cinemas offers FREE G-PG rated movies during the summer on Tuesday's and Wednesday mornings at 10am.  If you visit their website, check out the Cinema in your area and they should have info up regarding their Summer Movie Festival (or something along those lines).  Not all Regal Cinemas do this so be sure to check out yours first for dates and times.  My daughter LOVES this and so do I!!

Hi ATL moms. I was a SAHM for 2 years, now I am a WAHM trying to make the transition as painless as possible for me and DD.

TIP #1 fo other moms: check out your local library they have fun and free programs for all age groups.  TIP#2 Check out your local county parks for their free summer programs or just go play, it is your tax $.  Most kids love to play outside. TIP#3 turn old infant swimming pool into a sand pit. TIP#4 Imagine It Children's Museum is free on  Target 2nd Tuesdays of the month.  Tip#5 4th Sat. of the month during summer is Family Fun days at Centennial Olympic park, different them each month.

I enjoy living in the Atlanta area because there is so much to do and so many great parks to go to. But when it was colder out, I would take my 1 year old to "Story Time" at the Library and he really enjoyed it. It's free and fun for parent and child :) okay -just saw someone else posted this. :) well, my other tip is that they have a zoo pass that you can check out at the library that gets 2 kids and 2 adults in free. You just have to make sure it's not checked out by someone else, and I think you can place it on reserve online at afplweb.com

My Local Tip: I had a difficult time finding activities to participate in with my son that are affordable and close to home. If you are looking for activities you can do with an infant - check the calendar of your local library. In Clayton County I found Baby Talk.  My son loves it, I met great moms with children my son's age, and best of all...it's free!
