Hi community of awesome 40+ mom's! I have 2 sons from a previous marriage, 17 and 10. I remarried in 2009 and we had a daughter in April. I didn't realize how much has changed since my first two. I am also diabetic so my pregnancy was watched very closely. I'm so incredibly blessed with being a stay at home mom because 3 kids and working full time would have been harder on me. I've adjusted nicely to the routines and thankful school starts for the older two next week.

I am glad that I'm not the only one. I am almost 43. I had Bailee at 41 and she is 11 months old. I actually thought that I was pretty hot at 42..Smile. I have another daughter that is almost 22 years old. The problem is that when we are out, people think that she is the mother! Really, NOT!

Vicki, you are NOT alone. I had Daniel at 43 (I'm 44 now). He's 8 months this week. I am so blessed to have him after I miscarried twice (ages 24 and 30). Getting a late start isn't bad at all. :)
