my son when he breathes sometimes it's so heavy and sounds like hes congested ... Asked the dr about it twice and he says it's normal first at his 2 month checkup he said it was normal cuz his lungs and everything were all new and when I went for his 4 month checkup said its normal and he's just a noisy baby... He said there was nothing in his lungs and sounded all clear. Does anyone else have a noisy baby? Should I be more concerned?

My daughter was like that until about six months. It is very common! If your pediatrician isnt worried, then you shouldnt be :) if you really do think something is wrong, just get a second opinion; no harm in that.
My daughter is the same way. I also asked the doctor and he said the same thing as yours. It has actually got a lot better but she is still noisy.
My son was also very noisy. The pediatrician said over and over it was nothing until he came down w a double ear infection at 5 months and we were sent to an ENT doctor. He was diagnosed with Laryngomalacia at that time (unrelated to the ear infection), which is a slight birth defect where the airway partially collapses, which causes noisy breathing. Severe acid reflux usually accompanies this defect and many babies gag, choke or cough while feeding... Their swallowing isn't quite normal. Most children outgrow it by the age of 2. But there can be varying degrees of severity, so if you're concerned enough to write here, you should probably seek a second opinion with an ENT. We changed pediatricians after that even though I really liked his first doctor. They don't know everything!! His new doctor mentioned that noisy breathing due to c-section (the mucus doesn't get squeezed out of the lungs like a natural birth) should last about 2-3 weeks, not months. Good luck!

my son does the same thing he is 6 weeks

the doctor check his lungs and said he was

fine I sure hope so

Trust your instincts. Mother know best. It seems to be bothering you and would prob me to. I'd get another opinion because you don't seem satisfied with the one you are getting. There might be a medical term/diagnosis for it and it be basically nothing. But I'd see someone else just to set the mind at ease.

My lo was/ is a heavy breather.  He just turned 1 and still is.  He had his adenoids out 1 week ago because they were so inflamed and infected that it was causing him to snore.  He has had a sinus infection since he was 4 mos old that the ENT had done everything he could to clear up before we opted for surgery.  We had to wait until he was 1 to get the surgery tho.  In the meanitime steroids worked to keep his nasal passage open.  His pediatrition couldn't diagnose the problem and had told me it was normal because the sinus passage isn't open thru the nose to see up it until after they are 2.  The only reason we found out was we had taken hi, to the ENT for chronic ear infections (caused by the drainage not being able to get out thru his nose from his adenoids being enlarged) and they out a scope up his nose to finally diagnose the problem.  The scope doesn't hurt them and they sit in your lap for it.  Good luck...trust your instincts!  I did and a week after surgery he is finally breathing thru his nose for the first time in his life!  :-)
