Hi my daughter is 5 weeks old. The past two days she has had a low grade fever. This morning while playing with her and felt her gums. She has a bump on the top of her gums. I was wondering is it possible for her to be cutting a tooth already? I called her pediatrician and he told me not to worry as long as her fever isnt over 100.5. I was just wondering if anyone has had a child cut a tooth so early.

Hi my daughter is only 3 1/2 months but she started teething early also running a low grade fever also took her to the doctor  he noticed her gums were swollen and stated that she was teehting I felt the same way I didn't know that babies could be teething at an early age, also she is trying to talk and crawl already I guess she is going to be a very gifted baby! Everyone keeps saying that she's moving out of the way for the next one But i beg to differ.
