I used Target diapers once; I thought they were ok for absorption but kind of bulky. For my son Luvs during the day and Huggies Overnights were the best combo. Luvs are the cheapest brand-name diaper, even when you used coupons for the other ones, and they worked great for my son (he never had bad blow-outs though). I bought Walgreens' brand once and i really disliked those.
I agree with Katie - they're OK, but bulky. My son never really leaked, but they're kind of thick and don't form to the body as well as other brands. We also use Luvs now. They're great. They're not bulky, and we haven't had a leak in ages.
I have found the Target brand diapers to be the best lower cost option. We typically use huggies and cloth diapers by tailfeathers. (Tailfeathersdiapers.com) I also really liked swaddlers. I like the target brand ones becuase they are pretty soft and they have no dyes in them. I don't like the idea of the chemical dye being up against my baby all the time. This is another reason why we use the cloth diapers as much as possible. They save us a ton of money at daycare. But I would definitely recommend the target brand diapers over any of the other off brands I have tried and luvs....
Ya Luvs is really good for a cheaper diaper and they have coupons sometimes. I tried Target ones a couple times and they were fine for my toddler. I will give them another shot to see if I still like them.
I've always liked the Target brand, but I'm also not too picky about diapers. I haven't found too much difference between all of them, so I always go for the cheapest.
I actually have not used target brand... but a good friend of mine swears by them. I actually use the Safeway grocery store brand name (momtomom) and they are even better than huggies! I can get the small pack for $6.99 (usually huggies brand are $10) or the jumbo pack for $24.99 (usually huggies are $35.99)... they are always on sale here in Va. So, I am all for the store brand!
