my baby girl is 4months old and i started her on baby cereal. shes i such a good little eater, i had to start giving her some because she wasnt sleeping very well starting waking up ever 30-45 min wanting to eat.

My question is how do breastfed mothers make it?? i says to add breast milk or formula. id rather stick to my BM. do you pump every time?? have it saved??

iv been pumping every time like 1.5-2 oz to make it 2x a day and it has mess me up soo bad my boobs are killing me. i really didnt want to get to pumping again. what do yo think would be the best way to do it, and less painful for me?

I don't know about cereal but what caught my attention in your message is that your breasts suffer terribly when you pump. I believe it shouldn't be painful to pump milk from our breasts but, then again, i don't believe in electric pumps. I like the most simple, the most basic, the cheapest pump around, which is the only one that allows me to identify the ducts that need to be emptied and to have control over the whole operation. I use a manual pump that looks like an old fashioned bike horn. It doesn't hurt and it lets me touch the right places and "milk" myself efficiently. Best of luck to you.

thanks where would i find one of those?? i started using a hand pump so i could be in control.

i wanted to thank everyone for your comments! i went to my doctor and come to find out i had thrush  (again) thats why it hurt soo bad. this was alot different from the 1st time i had it so i didnt no. my nipple were soo sore to touch. and was stressed so my milk wasnt coming down. but im better now. thank you all soo much for your comments! :)
