If you're breastfeeding, you can express some breastmilk in her nose—it works like the saline drops, but has the benefits of being a) warm and b) tasting better.

Other than that, keeping her head elevated when you can and running a humidifier to keep the air moist can help. I hope she feels better soon!
ive been haaving her sleep in the bouncy seat to keep her elevated. been working well to keep her more comfy. doc looked at her today and said she looks great, no ear infections or wheezing. My 3 yr old is in pre school so im probably gona be dealing with sick kids all the time now :(
We had to use saline drops & a humidifier. Actually, before we got the humidifier we used to sit in the bathroom with the shower running on hot water. You're just gonna have to keep doing what you're doing. You get tired of suctioning out the nose, but if it's just a cold & she keeps eating regularly, it should pass with no problems. Just keep an eye out for any fevers. Baby will be fine.
Hi, my baby has bad reflux, as a result he sounds congested 90% of the time. The pedi tellme all the time not to suction too much because suctioning too much will irritate his nostrils and the bodies defense for that will be to make more mucus. Try the vicks waterless vaporizer it works well for all my friend's 4 kids.
