I always loved Valentine's day because i loved making valentines for all of the kids in my class. I also loved easter time because we would always decorate lots of eggs and we always had so much fun doing that.
My favorite holiday has been and still is HALLOWEEN!!! I just always loved coming up with new costumes. My Mom would help us make costumes out of things around the house. We were pretty poor but never let that effect our Halloween. I was a zombie quite often; b/c oatmeal and water made an awesome gross face & you could wear anything and just put this on your face and hands. We used to envade other naeighborhoods and go to the local children's storybook theme park, FairyLand (very small). Sometimes we even went to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, one of my Mom's faves. I still dress up and make my costumes. I hope Quico will enjoy it as much as I do.
Christmas, especially when it snows on Christmas Day!!
I loved Halloween! It was so exciting to get all dressed up and get scared!
Thanksgiving!!! I loved all the good food.
Halloween! I always loved getting to wear my costume to school, the party we had there and then getting to trick or treat that night!
Growing up to in a family of three children and where my mom didnt work- my favorite holiday was christmas. It was the only time we would get a little something for a present.
When I was a child I loved Halloween and Christmas! Halloween cause the cool decorations and of coarse the candy, also the enjoyment of walking up and down the streets in costumes always was a plus! Christmas because we got to see family we didnt always have the privilege of seeing throughout the year. Also waking up the next morning and going outside in your new clothes and playing with your new toys/bikes that santa brought - those memories are always strong in my thoughts.
Christmas was always my favorite holiday. I loved looking at all the lights and going to the candlelight service at church!
When I was growing up, my favorite holiday was Christmas, of course. Every Christmas morning my grandparents would come over early and wake all of us kids up. My sister and I would always pretend to be sleeping when they would come in and wake us up. ;)
