It sounds normal to me. Newborns can't see much of anything unless it's within a foot or so. It's all a weird blur of color and motion. If it continues, bring it up at her 2-month appointment. If you're too worried to wait that long, there's no harm in calling your pediatrician. That's what they're there for!
It is a common thing called infantile nystagmus. My son had it up until he was about 11 months or so. We panicked about it and took him to the doctors and they did all sorts of tests (including an MRI on my then 2 month old son) and that is what they came up with. The pediatric neurologist said sometimes it may stick around longer in some babies than others but usually goes away by the age of one. He is 18 months now and perfectly fine. He only seems to relapse a little when he is tired but the doctor's aren't worried about it so neither am I. :) Hope this helps!
