I feel the same way and Angelique said it all, it's hormonal... Ugh... Feels sooo weird! Drinking something while you breastfeed might help you. At least it works for me! ;)
Good luck!
Yes. It had nothing to do with the uterus cramping though as this continued well past postpatum period. It had everything to do with not eating enough before nursing, like in the mornings or before I had a chance to eat myself. Hope some food will help with it!
Is it worse during a parcticular time of day? For the first few months I frequently felt nauseated and I think it was due to being so tired! So this was worse during the night and in the morning.
OMG...I thought I was going insane, the same thing happens to me. I have to drink ginger tea and it still doesn't help. I feel nauseous not as bad as when I was preggers.
It is funny how this was never mentioned when you are speaking to a consultant. But I had this sensation with my first daughter and I am having it now with my newborn. It does not change whether it is day or night. Now that I know that it is a common situation, I guess I don't feel so bad. I thought maybe I am sick in the head for feeling nauseated when I feed my kids. I really thought I was crazy, but I continued to feed them, battling the thought of craziness. Thanks for bringing this up so that other women like us can see that they are not crazy.
