It's my son's first Halloween also. Well technically his second but he was only two weeks old for his first so I guess it's his first Halloween that he can dress up and have fun. I am going to get him a black cape with the tall collar on it and put him in a black sweat shirt and pants (it tends to be cold here on Halloween), slick his hair back with some gel and pat some baby powder on his face to make him look pale and he's going to be my little Dracula! I also have an adult female vampire costume I am going to wear.
Be careful with using the baby powder it can cause lung problems for babies if it gets inhaled.
Very good to know, thank you!
this is technically my baby's second halloween, too. but like rhiannon said, my son was only three days old last halloween, so i'm looking forward to dressing him up in more than a halloween-themed onesie. :)

i haven't ordered it yet, but i'm leaning toward a cute lion costume i saw online:

http://www.buycostumes.com/Lil-Lion-Elite-Collection-Infant-Toddler...

in addition to buycostumes.com, diapers.com, carters, target and old navy have a lot of costumes at various price points. if you google "infant halloween costumes" you'll get a ton of links. there's so much to choose from - from animals to cartoon characters. have fun!! :)
I am also ordering the same one it is just so cute and it is also his first so I figured the whole family will participate I will be dorothy from the Wizard of Oz my husband will be the tin man, and our pup will be toto we are just missing the scare crow :( it should be a memorable for our little one to look back on.
Onestepahead.com has an adorable lion check it out- they also gave great safety items...
I got my son's halloween costume for this year on Ebay about 6 months ago for $2!!!! I saw it at a halloween boutique for $19.99, I scored!

Way to go! I am already on the lookout for ideas for next Halloween.
My munchkins (two-year-old boy-girl twins) were little red riding hood and the big bad wolf last year. I made their costumes out of hoodie sweatshirts. This year they will be a chicken and an egg. My baby boy (4 months old) will be a spider this year and I am going to be his web. I love making their costumes! I got all of these ideas from the Martha Stewart website.

Here are my cuties last year:

thats cute......
Thanks!
cuties, indeed! those costumes are great!
