My baby girl is 7 months and 1 week old. From what I know she is supposed to be teething from now. She shows signs of teething from drooling to biting on everything she can get her mouth on. Is it normal for this to be taking so long?

YES. My daughter is 11 months and has been teething a while but no teeth yet. Every baby is different!

Thanks for the responses that does help!

Tapia my daughter is almost 7months and i was getting worried she has no teeth yet so am glad u asked this question the replies really helped me too.

My son started teething at 3 months and didn't cut a tooth through until he was 7 months old. Now he's 10 months and has 6 teeth through and is working on two more. Don't worry, it can take some time! Try not to use orajel, it can make the gums thicker and harder for the teeth to cut through. If you're really worried, talk to the pediatrician. Chances are, it's perfectly normal!
