I think my son is going to be a monkey, using last year's costume, which still fits and honestly didn't get used much last year--he basically refused to put it on except for a few photogenic moments. Click here to hear from one Mom365 mama who's way more into Halloween than me.
What about you? Will the whole family be dressing up? Share your Halloween costume ideas here!
Eamonn is going to be a skeleton (his choice) and Adelaide will be Little Red Riding Hood (my choice).
We decided on skeletons for the boys b/c it seems like those costumes are the least hassle (they will never keep accessories on them, and they are always hot, so anything thick or w/ layers will drive them nuts)... they are almost 2 so they aren't really at an age where they can tell me exactly what they want to be, they will just be more into the candy and walking around.
My daughter (7) wants to be a vampire.
My 10 yr old chose to be the "Scream" character, my 7 year old chose to be the grim reaper and I have chose (with the help of my other two) to dress my 15 month old as a butterfly.
My son is 16 months old. My husband and I are having a shirt made for him that says "W-2" across the back and
"Daddy's Little Tax Deduction" on the front.
Then we'll just put him in some warm pants.
We're not taking him trick or treating at all since it would interrupt with his night time routine and he's not really old enough to understand the whole concept.
My husband came up with the idea as a joke but it was actually a pretty good idea. Haha
My daughter is going to be a pumpkin princess. She's going to have an orange tutu, an orange onezie with a jack-o-lantern face, tights, and a pumpkin beanie!
My son will be 'Batman' this year...this is our first Halloween out trick or treating. He is 15 months and I have never really been into Halloween and honesty I can wait until he is 3 but dad wants to take him so if dad is excited, go ahead.
I've never been big on Halloween either. My friend just gave me an invite to her costume party today so I guess now I have to dress up. I need ideas!
Our entire family is dressing up like Monster High. Daddy is going to be Duece Gorgon, I'm going to be Laguna Blue, our oldest, 7, is going as Draculaura and the baby, 21 months, will be C.A. Cupid :)
My daughter, Marret, is going to be a chicken! I found it for $10 at a consignment store. It's a size to big so I might even get a second year out of it which would be double score. Hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween.
