My little girl is three months now and since she was two week we have tried every formula there is. I dont know what to do i even have put strawberry quik in her formula (now her poop has changed colors.) The GI say to take her of refulx med cuz she doesnt have reflux she only eat in 24 about 15 to 19 ounze if im lucky he also told me to give her 5 hours inbetween feed that doesnt work she hungry but she drink 2 ounze and thats it. Then she screams and sreams when u put the formula in her mouth. Im at the point that i dont know if i should start supplimating puree and yogurts in her milk to see it she drinks it ir starting her on baby food. Cereal constipated her more than her formula. I really dont know anmore my doc says she fine but no one has to deal with this like i do the screaming and by the way not colic either she only scream when u put formula in her mouth and she would only be content with her passifier if i let her. Any help would be appreciated the doc keep saying that but i can tell she is losing weight i need to make up my mind about feeding her puree and ect. maybe someone knows if goat milk is ok
Thank u

Permalink Reply by Jen, Mom365 Host on August 14, 2012 at 9:56pm I wouldn't give her goat milk. She needs formula or breast milk until she's one. Goat milk doesn't have the proper nutrition that she needs. It's possible that it isn't the formula that is the problem but the bottle you're using, or maybe even the temperature of the formula. What brand of bottle are you using? Are you giving her the formula warm, cold, or room temperature?
If your doctor isn't listening to you, then seek another doctor. I agree with Jen. Have you tried other bottles, etc? At this age, she doesn't need anything besides breastmilk or formula.
