looks like baby acne does itook like it has white heads?my daughter had mild baby acne the first few monts has long as it is not spreding and seems to be getting bigger or bothersome i would say it not a rash

i posted another question i was doing research and it sounds crazy but i think shes cutting teeth. i read it and my mom told me that happens when they do and shes drooling alot and is just fussy.. all signs lead to it. plus her gums look kinda white, and looks a little swollen. plus shes been clenching down when she feeds and is like rubbing her gums on the nipple shield. her bumps dont look like acne. and when i wash her face they go away, mostly when i feed her where ever shes touching me she'll sweat or get milk on her check.

humm never experienced that but her teeth could be moving closer to the surface of the gums but they might not break threw for awhile i know the white gums and everything points to teething but it took months to actually break threw the gum with my daughter and she got dry rosy cheeks while teething but no rash. could it be a heat rash from her cheek being against the breast? if it keeps up just call the advice nurse at the dr office and see what they think 7 wks is really young to cut teeth but i do know some babies are even born with a couple...time will tell hope it get better

ya thats what im thinking there just getting ready.. i read the red checks are normal, it also said they can get them as early as 3months

Yeah my baby got the same thing I believe its baby acne she had it worst then your baby. I just washed her faced with warm water and kept her face dry and it went away in a week. I also recommened not kissing the babys face because i read the saliva can make it worst and spread more. Hope that helps!

i was thinking that to but not my saliva my make-up.. ive been washing her face to and trying to keep it dry.. thanks

It looks like eczema to me.  Only a dermatologist will know for sure.  Eczema and baby acne look similar, so it's hard to tell.  Everyone kept telling me my son had acne, but it was actually eczema.

oh, and he didn't start having problems with his eczema until he was about 3 months old.

ill  keep my eye on it it did go away. im just thinking it was her getting ready to teeth. i read they can show early signs even if they dont break through. thank you though i know i had that when i was little so ill deff keep my eye on it if it comes back.

Definitely you should use only Dove Sensitive on the baby's face, and if you want to add moisturizer, only apply vaseline to the face afer washing.  Don't use any baby soap or moisturizer because it's scented and perfumed. After Dove and vaseline, you will see a big difference in the baby's skin, although baby acne is normal and will go away eventually.

really i cant use dove it makes me brake out bad. the only thing i found i like using on her is aveeno baby wash its all nature doesnt have any perfume or fragrance in it either. i even use the lotion on me..  her face cleared up, weird it was only for like a day or two.

Looks like acne. My daughter had terribly from 3 weeks to around 8 weeks then it went away. However, she still has breakouts occasionaly that will go away after a couple of days.. I really didn't do anything for it, but her doc said you can use cortizone occasionally to treat it.
