Permalink Reply by crysalyn5 on December 14, 2011 at 5:21pm My son will turn 4 mos old on Christmas Eve so this will be his very first Christmas. Taking into consideration his age & the fact that neither of us is currently employed (Daddy is in his first year of law school & I am a full time Mommy) we are keeping it very simple & just giving him a keepsake "Baby's First Christmas" ornament and personalized stocking; along with the experiance of spending the holidays with extended family & loved ones ... and Im sure they will more than make up for our lack of gifts.
For our 6 month old's first Christmas we got her some books because we love reading to her. She also got some soft blocks and a little puppy that plays music and sings songs. Of course we had to get the necessities like clothes and diapers!!!
Permalink Reply by WessysMom on December 14, 2011 at 7:06pm My little guy is almost 5 months, and we got him a portable DVD player so he can watch his baby Einsteins. He can use it as he grows for longer car trips or just around the house and he can abuse it as much as he wants, because it will be all his!! :)
My son is 5 months old and loves to jump while we're holding him. We're getting him a jumperoo. I'm sure he'll love it, and it'll free us up a bit so we could get some things done!
