Does this look like 1 baby or 2 ?
I got an ultrasound today (9/5/2012) and it was at a pregnancy clinic. They are not allowed to give out information on the gender of the baby or any other things like this. They are just there to confirm pregnancy.
I haven't made a doctors appointment yet, I will soon, but does this ultrasound picture look like there is one or two babies? My friends say it looks like two! I have even googled other peoples ultrasound pictures and they look similar.
Please give me your opinions!

Looks like one sac and one ovary. The pic is kinda tiny. I can see how you might guess there are 2 in there. I wouldn't stress to much anything can happen. You don't look very far along. (My sister was prego with twins 4.5 wks and 5.5 weeks. When she finally made it to her appt her body had adsorbed one and she delivered a healthy boy.) If twins or if they run in your family you should make an appointment and get on some good vitamins soon. Good prenatal are is important for yours and the baby(s) health. BTW CONGRATS!!!

I must say, it looks similar to my sono... and they were twins. Here is a pic, but I was about 2 months along here so you can see things much clearer. I see two sacs...

It looks like 1 baby to me. I think what you see on the right is your bladder. I'm not an ultrasound tech or radiologist, so I could certainly be wrong, but it looks like a baby on the left, and a bladder on the right.
Let us know what the Dr. says!

i think it looks like two babies in the same sac so i goggled identical twin ultrasound and i found similar photos

Ahhh. I thought you were referring to the two different black circles. I still have to say it looks like one baby. For how recently pregnant you look, I think what you're seeing is an embryo and a yolk sac. But, if I'm wrong and it really is twins, that's awesome! I always wanted twins. I think everyone kind of wants twins, don't they?

Ooohhh, I see what you mean... it really depends on how early on you are, the further along you are the more likely that is just showing the head and the rest of the body and b/c of shadowing you can't see the middle portion of the baby, BUT if you are earlier on in the pregnacy yes it looks more like 2 little dots in there, so it could be 2 little embryos! I am so curious now, you'll have to keep us updated :)

Do you have a Dr.s' appointment scheduled yet? I'm so curious to find out if it's one or two in there! Did they say what your due date is?

As a mother to mono/di twins what you see in the picture is your uterus, one placenta/egg sac. To the right is your bladder. Unless you are having mono/mono twins I have to say its only one baby. Congrats are in order either way Momma! :-)

in the sac it looks like two babies, but there does look like there is another sac on the right but that could be your bladder!
