I love Reese Witherspoon. She just had a baby boy and named him Tennessee. What do you think? Would you name your baby after your state?

I thought it was cute. Tennessee works for a boy's name, but I wouldn't name anybody Massachusetts or New York. ;)

Tennessee is a really cute name! I am naming my soon to be daughter, Savannah. Not after the city, but you know :-) I'm from Ohio...and I don't really see myself naming a child after that!

I think it's super-cute too. It's made me try to think of other states that would work well as names (my SIL is trying to name the little boy she's expecting).
What will his nickname be, Tenny?

Certain state and city names are very cute, but Tennessee kinda makes me cringe a little. What nickname comes out of that one? Tenne? Meh.....
