I have all these pregnant friends, each on their second or third baby. It's interesting to listen to them talk about how different these pregnancies have been from their previous pregnancies, especially in the first trimester. If my friends are any indication, it seems like women get less morning sickness and exhaustion with their second and third babies than their first, maybe because their bodies are already kind of used to it? How did your second/third/fourth pregnancy differ from your first?

I'm on my second pregnancy and they both started out the same, but that didn't last long.  With my first (boy) I  had only a couple of days of morning sickness.  I couldn't eat a lot of sweets or certain foods like Chinese.  At the end, I got a mysterious rash (I think it was PUPPS), I got carpel tunnel really badly, I was very swollen, and I was carrying a lot of extra water.  This second one is a girl.  I had bad morning sickness for the first few months, I got a little carpel tunnel in the beginning, and a little here at the end.  I love to eat sweets and junk, even Chinese!  I ended up with blood blisters on my gums this time.  No swelling, no rash, and no excess water this time.  I was tired with the first and this one too, but I have to keep up my energy for this one since I already have a little one running around.  Plus, I'm not as big with this one, didn't gain as much weight.

I was very sick w/ morning sickness for my first... the 2nd time around I didn't have one single day of morning sickness.  I wasn't near as tired either during the 2nd pregnancy, but I did have really bad heart burn throughout it.

It just depends on the pregnancy.  I wasn't a bit sick with my first, but with my second, I had more morning sickness.  And the cravings were totally different! First was all sweets, the second was all healthy foods (tofu, veggies) and when I ate sweets I would get sick!!

My second pregnancy has (35 weeks in) been identical to my first! Both are girls...I am carrying the same, the same cravings, same time span of symptoms (no morning sickness, but nausea that requires me to eat). The back/hip pain is worse this time around though!

For both of my kids, I was just as sick, just as tired, and just as miserable. I hate being pregnant. :P

My labor was da worst with my thrid. I was labor for Almost 20 hrs. When da lady came in to do my epidural it felt like electro lytes was moving thru my body. I end up throwing up while she was giving me da epidural and then after so long it felt like it was wearing off so Awe was on her way back n to give me more. Onee she gave me more I still felt hard contractions, but dats cause I was fully dialated!!! Da contractions hurted so bad.....it was da worse. My DH was like we done with having kids. He was upset because I was in so much pain and their was nothing he could so to help.
