Don't rush it. Every kid is different. At 9 months my lo took off running and never crawled. My nephew crawled for one day right before his 1st bday. I know this doesn't help but enjoy the 'not chasing' stage.

thank you! It helps knowing that its normal and ok..

Ever baby does it on their own time...but do you put your baby on the floor often..my lady is 7 1/2 months old she belly crawls all over the place and rocks on her knees but hasnt crawled that way yet. But i found just putting the foam mats on the floor and letting her go.

I'm going to try a foam mat.. she will move around on the bed when we play but not on the floor she cries ...?

I got the foam puzzle mats at Toys R US..the bed is comfortable. My kids all developed at different rates so dont worry...one day she may just get up and walk....

Is she crying when you put her down or is it the floor?

yea she cries but i think its because she is held a lot

Totally normal. Just make sure she gets plenty of time on the floor. Some babies never crawl. My son pulled up and cruised before he crawled, and then when he finally did crawl he only did it for about 6 weeks before he was walking full time. Everybody is different!

Maybe she needs more tummy time... thank u.

tummy time is the key

Don't feel bad my daughter is 8 months and she doesn't even crawl either....I thought it was weird that sge wasn't crawling. I thought she was the only one not crawling.

lol it does make you feel a lot better knowing that baby isnt the only one not crawling yet

Don't worry, some babies skip that stage. My son (now 16 months old) never learned to crawl, he was draging his whole body on his belly, then he walked and after that he learned to crawl for some reason. Sometimes he gets tired from walking and he gets down on his knees and crawls a bit. So, maybe your baby will start walking by 10-11 months
