My baby is 3.5 mo old and she has been chewing my nipples when breastfeeding, drooling and a bit grumpy. Could she be teething already? My first child was 11mo old when her first tooth came in.

My son's first tooth came in when he was 13 weeks old. I honestly had no clue he was even teething, because although he'd been fussy and drooling I never thought teething at 2.5-3 months old would be happening. So I say yes, she could be teething. All kids are different with teething. My daughter didn't get her first tooth til she was 10 months old. My son had all his teeth by 10.5 months, no joke! (minus 2 year molars of course)
My son is 3 months, born August 25, and is doing the same thing. He chews on his fingers and fist. He has been cranky, so we think it's teething but it could be a growth spurt. He spits out teething rings and teething items, as well as his pacifier. The latest is an upset tummy, which we bounce him on our exercise ball to help ease the discomfort. We were told about Hyland's homeopathic teething gel, an herbal remedy for pain and irritability from teething. AFTER we have checked for hunger, dirty diaper, bouncing, too cold/too hot, too much stimulation/too little stimulation, then we give him a little gel on his gums. It works! You're doing a great job at being a mom by asking and seeking help! Just wanted to let you know :0)
My daughter has also been very cranky, drooling and chewing on her hands I thought she was to young to be teething she is only 10 wks old. When I spoke with the pediatrican, she did say infants can start teething about 3 months old but the teeth may not come through for awhile.
Thank you for posting this! Very helpful ;0)
My baby will be 3 months on the 17th of Dec and I am 100% sure she is starting to teeth, she is chomping down on my nipples and drooling as well. My goal was to breastfeed till she was one years old but at this rate I will be happy to make it to 6 months old.
Wow this is a comfort cuz i was wondering the same tthing 3 month old baby boy going to town on his fist drooling and biiting everything .im glad to know that hes not the only one thanx mommies.

I was curious if this was happening with my son as well.  This was really helpful & reassuring:)
